First Day Exam : Three modules : Listening / Reading / Writing.
Second Day Exam : Speaking Only .

 

First Exam Listening : 40 Questions / 30 Minutes Over Head Phone & open Air.
Four Sections : 10 Questions per sections, Each question carries one mark.
Types of Question : Fill in the blanks / choose the best / Multiple choice / Tick right or wrong / Route map / Match the following.

 

Second Exam Reading : 40 Questions / 60 Minutes , Three Passages : Each passage contains 13 or 14 questions.Each questions carries one mark.
Types of Question : Fill in the blanks / choose the best / Multiple choice / Tick right or wrong / Route map / True-False-Not Given or Yes-No-Not Given / Match the following.

 

Third Exam Writing : Two Tasks

General Procedure:
Task One : Letter - More than 150 words in four paragraphs.
Task Two : Essay Writing - More than 250 words in five paragraphs.

Academic Procedure
Task One : Writing by comparisons - More than 150 words in four paragraphs.
Types of Question : Bar chart / Pie chart / Graphs / Data's / Flow chart.
Task Two : Essay Writing - More than 250 words in five paragraphs.
Types of Question : To what extent do you agree and disagree? / Discuss / substantiate your answers with suitable evidences and examples / what are your opinions?

 

Second Day Exam : Speaking only : 12 to 14 minutes / candidate and examiner / A tape records your speech on the table / many questions are self centered / curiosity / and inspiration may reveal your language difficulty.
Part One : Four minutes / professional introduction / personal questions / home back ground / home town / transport facilities / unforgettable incidents / memorable gifts / admiring persons / your views on many things.
Part Two : Four minutes / Cue card presentation for two minutes continuous speech / one minute is given for preparation / improvising new ideas using imagination and creativity / three or four wind up questions.
Part Three : Four minutes / switch over from cue card / general discussion / questions are generated coherently form your ideas.
